    Registered Nurse – Tele/PCU - PRN/Pool

    Registered Nurse - SAMMC.  Positions available through MedTrust for openings at the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC).  PRN allows RN's flexibility in shift scheduling. Registered Nurse candidates must have combined experience working in the following areas: Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Telemetry/Step Down ICU level care.  Great opportunity to work PRN until FT openings become available.

    MedTrust Staffing offers excellent pay, scheduling of 8 & 12 hour shifts. Must be available to commit to the shift requirements weekly/monthly.

    Registered Nurse Duties:
    RN duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following; team lead, charge nurse, precept, orientate, rapid response and other tasks as needed. We offer a team nursing approach on the units. 8 & 12 hour shifts available on the PCU and Tele Units. Candidates must be available to schedule shifts weekly/monthly and commit to the orientation involved.


    Registered Nursing Requirements:

    Must have Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an accredited nursing program
    Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction
    Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) from an American Heart Association Program
    1 year of IMCU/Step-down level care experience + 2 years of clinical nursing within the last 4 years
