    Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit
    MS RN - SAMMC.  MedTrust is hiring Registered Nurses for the Medical/Surgical unit. Full-time benefited civilian positions available at the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). This premier Army hospital and Level I Trauma center is the Defense Department's largest inpatient facility.

    Responsibilities

    Registered Nurse Duties:

    As a MedTrust employee your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit.  Duties can include but are not limited to the following; team lead, charge nurse, precept, orientate, rapid response and other tasks as needed.  This is a MS floor with 24 patient beds on the unit.

    Qualifications

    Registered Nurse Requirements:

    Must have Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an accredited nursing program

    Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction

    Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program

    1 year experience in similar setting within the past 5 years
