Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

PACU RN - Lackland AFB/Wilford Hall.

MedTrust is hiring an experienced RN for the Recovery Unit. Full-time position available at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC). The "New" Wilford Hall opened it's doors at the end of 2017, housing over 25 outpatient clinics with state of the art upgrades. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 8 hour work days/40 hours weekly.  No holidays, no weekends and no On-Call!  Our RNs are offered excellent pay + full benefits.

RN Duties:

As a MedTrust employee your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit.  Duties can include but are not limited to the following; team lead, charge nurse, precept, orientate, rapid response and other tasks as needed.  Rotate all areas of SDS Recovery: pre-op, PACU phase I and II.


RN Qualifications:

  • Must have Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction

  • BLS, ACLS & PALS Certifications

  • 1 year experience in similar setting within the past 3 years
