Case Manager - Registered Nurse

Medtrust is accepting resumes for review for the government contract position of  Registered Nurse Case Manager for the Medical Readiness Program and Pre-Deployment Assessments for the Texas Army National Guard. Registered Nurse Case Managers will aid in improving the care, management, and transition of recovering Service Members, broaden the application of Case Management to include those with complex and at-risk needs before the Soldier requires complex care, and evaluate the impact of case management on the quality of military health care.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Case Management
  • Occupational health knowledge
  • Familiarity with Military Culture/issues

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Medtrust employee your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit.


Some duties are as follows:

  • Document, track & report on cases bi-weekly
  • Medical & administrative charting
  • Coordinate treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities
  • Soldier education on available resources
  • Review & track health assessments
  • Assist with development of hearing & vision conservation and preventative medicine programs
  • Maintain applicable spreadsheets, schedules, appointments, archiving documents and manage routine correspondence


  • Possess an Associate or Baccalaureate degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction 
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program 
  • 1 year experience in Case Management setting within the past 3 years
