    MedTrust is accepting resumes for Marriage and Family Therapist for Camp Lejeune, NC (SARP) anticipation for an upcoming government contract award.

     

     

    Clinic Hours 

    8.5hr shifts, M-F, between the hours of 0700 and 2000. 

    On call for a 7 day period, 1600-0700. Call-back, as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct Mental Status examinations.

    Conduct crisis intervention.

    Perform individual and family case management.

    Conduct family and marital therapy, as well as group and individual therapy as required.

    Perform psychosocial and family history taking.

    Assess and report spouse, child and elder abuses where indicated by state and federal laws while accessing appropriate services.

     

    Qualifications

    • 1 year of experience within the preceding 4 years working with substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis patients
    • Masters Degree  - Graduation from a marriage and family therapy accredited by the COAMFTE or a qualifying degree in an allied mental health field from a regionally accredited education institution in conjunction with a program of marriage and family therapy study that is equivalent to the COAMFTE standards as defined by the AAMFT. 
    • Possess and maintain a current Clinical Membership as a Marriage and Family Therapist
      from the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
