    Occupational Therapy Assistant 

     

    Medtrust is now accepting resumes for EXPERIENCED OCCUPATION THERAPY ASSISTANT  for our great men and women in uniform at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.  

     

    Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700-1800

    Responsibilities

    Assist in the evaluation of patient’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations.

    Assist the Occupational Therapist in administering the occupational therapy program in the hospital, for physically, developmentally, neurologically, or mentally disabled clients.

    Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and assist in ordering replacements.

    Set up and remove equipment and supplies, assuring that equipment is functioning properly and stored appropriately. 

    Qualifications

    Associates Degree for Occupational Therapy Assistant.


    Graduate from a college or university accredited at the time of graduation by the Accreditation
    Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association
    (AOTA).

     

    Certified through the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

     

    Possess a minimum of one-year experience within the preceding 3 years as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
