    Responsibilities

    Monday-Friday 0730-1800

     

    Genetic counseling include but are not limited to pregnant women and/or couples, families with children with genetic disorders or syndromes, cancer risks due to genetics, such as breast and/or ovarian cancers, and other genetic conditions. 

    Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree.
    • Graduate from a program in genetics counseling as determined by the Accreditation Council
      for Genetics Counseling.
    • Possess and maintain certification as a genetics counselor through the American Board of
      Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
    • One year of experience as a Certified Genetic Counselor after graduation.
