    Are you an experienced Perfusionist? Would you like an opportunity to give back to our men and women in uniform?

    We are currently accepting resumes for Perfusionist to provide medical services at the Department of Defense Military Health System (MHS) at Brook Army Medical Center, JBSA-Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX area in anticipation of an upcoming government contract award.


    Working hours may vary but typically are :

    Monday- Friday 6am-6pm

    Provide perfusion expertise for adult cardiopulmonary bypass.

    Prepare and assemble the heart-lung machine, intra-aortic balloon pumps and other related extra-corporeal apparatus with the appropriate mods.

    Follow the rigid surgical aseptic techniques required to institute and maintain total body perfusion of the patient during open-heart surgery using extra-corporeal circulation. 


    • Bachelors Degree
    • Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program approved by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
    • Certified by the ABCP
    • 3 yrs experience within the preceding 4 yrs
    • BLS
