    Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Camp LeJeune, Jacksonville, NC :


    We are accepting resume for experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP) Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, NC. This very successful pilot program will receive referrals from other Programs and Clinics or Providers. This is an anticipation of a up and coming government contract award.


    Typical schedule:

    • 8.5hr shifts, M-F, between the hours of 0700 and 2000. 

      On call for a 7 day period, 1600-0700. Call-back, as needed.

    Clinic environment:

    • Active duty troops, veterans & retirees
    • Adult population both male & female
    • 5 week intensive outpatient program


    Must have 1 year minimum experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - no other license status is accepted by the Base for this position.

     The responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) are:

    • Assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs
    • Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education 



    • Must hold a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). 
    • Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. 
    • One year of experience within the preceding 4 years working with substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis patients.
    • Experience working in a Government setting such a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF is preferable.
