    Pharmacy Technicians

    Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technicians? Would you like an opportunity to give back to our men and women in uniform?

    We are currently accepting resumes for Pharmacy Technicians to provide pharmacy services at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL   

     

    Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0630 to 1730

    Saturday and holidays from 0700 to 1730

    The clinic is closed on Sundays

    Responsibilities

    As prescribed by pharmacists, fill outpatient prescription orders.

    Perform extemporaneous compounding and provision of bulk medications, ensuring there are no chemical and/or physical incompatibilities.

    Utilize available medication information reference materials.

    Provide patient medication information and counseling.

     

    Qualifications

    • Possess and maintain a current certification and registration by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
    • A minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician within the last 3 years.
