    We are currently accepting resumes for Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide medical services at the at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL Deployment Health Clinic Center 

     

    Deployment Health Clinical Center operates from 0730 to 1630 Monday through Friday

    Responsibilities

     

    Two primary goals of the DHCC are to remove barriers to patient care for service members returning from deployment and to identify emerging health conditions related to deployment.

    As such, the Clinic staff shall actively market to, identify, and seek out patients for whom services are appropriate.

    The PA/FNP shall perform Deployment Health screenings, assess the results, treat patients, and refer patients for further treatment as appropriate.

     

    Technically guide and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated.

    Order diagnostic tests as applicable.

    Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.

    Qualifications

    • Possess 1 year full-time experience within the last 3 years as a PA or FNP in a primary care setting seeing an adult patient population.

    • Provide three letters of recommendation from practicing providers, supervisors or program administrators attesting to his/her professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, etc.
