    We are currently accepting resumes for Dentist to provide medical services at the Department of Defense Military Health System (MHS) in ( Sheppard AFB)  Wichita Falls, TX area.


    Monday through Friday

    Duty hours vary anywhere between 0600 – 1930 hours

    All personnel should be flexible enough to rotate shifts

    • General Dentist. Performs a full range of professional dental tasks including treatment of commonly
      encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or
      preventive measures such as single and multiple teeth extractions, restoration of simple and compound
      cavities with standard and prescribed material, taking mouth impressions for crowns, jackets, dentures and
      bridges and fitting and inserting the finished appliances. Ensures correct patient identification through the
      use of at least two unique patient identifiers and perform site verification, as required. Enters workload
      production data into reporting system.


    • Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

    • Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental
      Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA). Specialty Dentist must be a graduate
      of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA of the ADA or an accepted
      equivalent program.

    • Have a minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years 

    • As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific
      credentialing instructions. Shall have been employed for at least one (1) year on a full time basis in the
      practice of dentistry, or be a recent (1-year) graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training
      program. Dental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty area from an ADAaccredited
      residency training program.

    • Basic cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course such as American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health care provider course or an equivalent course based on published national guidelines for BLS IAW AFI 44-102. Web-based classes do not meet the standards in AFI 44-102.
