    GoodFellow AFB San Angelo, TX
    MedTrust is currently seeeking a Registered Nurse at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX. The qualified candidate will have Primary care experience with patients from infants to geriatric ages.

    The Registered Nurse must have excellent written & verbal communication skills and able to interact with a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.

     

    Normal Duty hours from 0730-1630 with potential to work early clinic on Tuesdays from 0700-1600.

    no Federal Holidays 

    no Weekends

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure all patients are screened correctly and in a timely manner
    • Communicates & educates health plan strategies for pediatric, adolescent, adults, obstetrics and geriatric patients.
    • Patient education of preventative health schedules, procedures & processes
    • Assist physician in examinations and treatments
    • May administer medications and blood products, obtain samples for lab analysis
    • Ensure treatment rooms are clean and stoked betreen patients

    Qualifications


    Must have either an Associates or baccalaureate from and accredited nursing program and the following:

     

      • Valid Licensed Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction

     

      • BLS from approved American Heart Association program

     

      • 2 years experience in similar setting in the past 5 years
