    Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Camp LeJeune, Jacksonville, NC :


    Accepting resume for upcoming government contract.  Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP) "Project Phoenix" at Marine Base Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, NC. This very successful pilot program will receive referrals from other Programs and Clinics or Providers. The LCSW will work in the SARP in support of both the clinic and the Phoenix Program.


    Typical schedule:

    • Monday thru Friday, 40 hours
    • Any time between 0700-1630 
    • No nights, no weekends or On-call requirements!
    • No Federal Holidays 

    Clinic environment:

    • Active duty troops, veterans & retirees
    • Adult population both male & female
    • 5 week intensive outpatient program

    Program approach:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Mindfullness
    • Individual & Group therapy
    • Other Professional experts to include: Sleep Hygiene, Exercise, Diet & Nutrition


    Must have 1 year minimum experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - no other license status is accepted by the Base for this position.

     The responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) are:

    • Assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs
    • Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education 



    • Must hold a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). 
    • Maintain a current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. 
    • Have a required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years
    • minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting as a (LCSW)
    • Experience working in a Government setting such a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF is preferable.
