    Registered Nurse-Utilization Management


    MedTrust is recruiting for a  full time position for an experienced  Registered Nurse-Utilization Management to provide services at Buckley AFB in Aurora, CO in anticipate for a government contract award.


    Typical schedule for the Surgical Registered Nurse:

    • Monday - Friday, 40 hours
    • 8.5 hour shifts: 6:30am-4:30pm
    • No on-call requirements
    • No weekends or federal holidays

    The duties


    Participate in all phases of the Case Management Program (CMP) and ensure that the CMP meets established case management (CM) standards of care.

    Assist in coordinating a multidisciplinary team to meet the health care needs

    Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team members to set patient-specific goals.

    Develop treatment plans including preventive, therapeutic, rehabilitative, psychosocial, and clinical interventions to ensure continuity of care toward the goal of optimal wellness.



    The CM Registered Nurse must have:

    • Current, valid Registered Nurse license from any US jurisdiction
    • Basic life support certification: BLS 
    • Possess a minimum of 24 months current experience in a Case Manager

    Possess current certification in a minimum of one of the following:


    (a) Certified Case Manager (CCM) issued by the Commission for Case Manager Certification

    (b) Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) issued by the Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission

    (c) Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) issued by the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses

    (d) Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) issued by the American Board for Occupational Health Nurses

    (e) Advanced Certification in Continuity of Care (ACCC) issued by the National Board for Certification in Continuity of Care

    (f) Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) issued by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification

    (g) Nurse Case Manager (RN-NCM) issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center

    (h) Care Manager Certified (CMC) issued by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers
