Overview

Civilian Registered Nurse full time opportunity at the military outpatient clinic TriCare in Suffolk, VA. 

Very busy outpatient clinic treating military families of all ages, looking for a full time experience RN to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

 

Facility Details:

  • Patient ages range from newborn to geriatric
  • Military insured beneficiaries
  • Labs, pharmacy & imaging on site

  Position Details:

  • 40 work week
  • Flexible Schedule
  • 7AM to 7 PM
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts
  • No on-call!

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order, including: triage; patient assessment and monitoring; use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment; appropriate nursing care, procedures, and treatments; execution of physicians’ orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations; and patient education and emotional support.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an outpatient acute (ER or Urgent Care) or ambulatory care setting within the last two (2) years - (must be able to treat pediatric to adult patients).

  • Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing

  • Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in any US jurisdiction

  • Possess Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
